Two More Miss Cambodias Win Crowns in Malaysia

MALAYSIA: Two young Miss Cambodias won crowns in two different pageants, Little Miss Global 2023 and Miss Teen Global 2023, held in Malaysia on Saturday, 4 February 2023.

12-year-old Chhorda Monyneath won the crown for Little Miss Global 2023, while also winning the national costume competition with a costume dedicated to Ganga, Mother Earth Goddess.

Meanwhile, 13-year-old Kong Channarya won the Miss Teen Global 2023 crown and answered her competition questions with confidence. She also won the national costume category wearing an Apsara Rainsy (Mother of Peace) dress, to depict Women of Peace.

In both pageants, the two Miss Cambodia contestants were able to compete well and attract the attention of the jury, leading to both winning crowns. Even though both are of a young age, they were still brave enough to take part in these international competitions.

These latest victories have increased the momentum of support for Miss Cambodia pageant queens and gained the attention of many people, both nationally and internationally, acting as a source of pride for the nation.

Miss Cambodia, Kong Channarya, won the crown for Miss Teen Global 2023, while Laos and Thailand came in second and third place, and the Philippines and Indonesia came in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Miss Cambodia, Chhorda Monyneath, won the crown for Little Miss Global 2023, while Thailand and Malaysia came in second and third place, while fourth and fifth place went to Botswana and Indonesia.
